Descripción :	El síndrome de obstrucción intestinal distal (SOlO) o "equivalente de íleo meconial" es una obstrucción del íleon terminal o colon ascendente causada por materia fecal viscosa, que se presenta después del periodo neonatal en pacientes con fibrosis quística (FQ). Se informa el caso de una niña en quien la manifestación inusual del SOlO sirvió de base para realizar el diagnóstico de FQ . Distal intestinal obstruction syndrome (DIOS) or "meconium ileus equivalent" is an obstruction of the terminal ileum or ascending colon caused by inspissated stools in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) out of the neonatal period. We report the case of a girl that presented with DIOS as an unusual manifestation that lead to the diagnosis of CF.
